: & :

you + me

there has been an `us` in my life now for almost two years

8.2

the sweetness of that day still feels fresh. I can taste it. I can feel it brushing up against my cheek. we danced to `la vie en rose` + it seemed fitting to do so. the day was so beautiful it almost hurt. it was and will always be the best day of my life. year one and year two have been entirely different things but despite the floundering around of year one and the battles we have faced together in year two... our hearts have become bound by a thousand strings.

you hold firmly to the value of all things `shared`.
and for me, growing into the independent woman I was, in america, as an only child; I`ve had much to learn from you. you have taught me (graciously + patiently) more in these two years then I could have ever learned my entire life as only a `me`.

you share.
everything.
you save your last best bite of food for me.
you eat wheat free food only because I need to.
you share your humor and your depth.
two things I am certain I cannot live without.

you are humble. sweet. sincere
you are comfortable in your own skin.
something I am still trying to learn.

there is only truly one you.
and it is a profound and moving grace that you chose me as your wife.

its far from perfect. in fact its messy.
but there is no one Id rather dance this with then you.

this is the real thing.
my cup overflows

happy anniversary

forever young

“Because children have abounding vitality, because they are in spirit fierce and free, therefore they want things repeated and unchanged. They always say, "Do it again"; and the grown-up person does it again until he is nearly dead. For grown-up people are not strong enough to exult in monotony. But perhaps God is strong enough to exult in monotony. It is possible that God says every morning, "Do it again" to the sun; and every evening, "Do it again" to the moon. It may not be automatic necessity that makes all daisies alike; it may be that God makes every daisy separately, but has never got tired of making them. It may be that He has the eternal appetite of infancy; for we have sinned and grown old, and our Father is younger than we.”
